Cura LTP – L-Tryptophan

An essential amino acid (not made by the body and must be consumed from the diet) that is necessary for making proteins

DESCRIPTION

CURA-LTP is an essential amino acid, (not made by the body and must be consumed from the diet) that is necessary for making proteins.
It is naturally found in red meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy. L-tryptophan is important for many organs in the body.
CURA-LTP modulates gene expression and nutrient metabolism to impact whole-body homeostasis in organisms.
After absorbing L-Tryptophan from food, the body converts some of it to 5-HTP and then to Serotonin – a hormone that transmits signals between nerve cells.
This change in serotonin levels in the brain can affect mood. It’s a critical nutrient for proper functioning of nervous and immune systems.
The body uses tryptophan to help make melatonin and serotonin. Melatonin helps regulate the sleep-wake cycle, and serotonin regulates appetite, sleep, mood, and pain. The liver can also use tryptophan to produce niacin (vitamin B3), needed for energy metabolism and DNA production.

BENEFITS

  • CURA-LTP is a nutritionally essential amino acid for mono-gastric animals and pre-weaning ruminants

  • As it cannot be synthesized in the body, external supplement is required

  • Besides serving as a building block for proteins, CURÀ-LTP is an essential nutrient for the functions of nervous and immune systems

  • It is a critical nutrient for proper functioning of nervous and immune systems

  • This brain-friendly amino acid is big proof of the impact of the gut-brain axis

  • Thus, adequate intake of L-tryptophan is crucial for growth, development, and health of animals

DOSAGE & DIRECTION FOR USE

Canine: The minimum quantity of tryptophan that is required to maintain nitrogen equilibrium in adult dogs is 6.5 mg per pound (13 mg/kg/day), daily. This is the daily requirement.
